Refund and Return Policy
Effective Date: 17th March 2025
This Refund and Return Policy applies to purchases of second-hand lead figures sold by Glynn Quelch (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to customers in the United Kingdom.
1. Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling Regulations)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item if purchased online or via distance selling methods. To cancel your order, you must notify us in writing (email or letter) within this period. Once notified, you have 14 days to return the item(s) to us.
2. Returns & Refunds
We accept returns and offer refunds under the following conditions:
- Item Not as Described: If the item significantly differs from the description or photos provided, you are entitled to a full refund, including return postage costs.
- Faulty or Damaged Items: If an item is faulty or arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence. We will offer a refund or replacement (subject to availability).
- Change of Mind: If you change your mind within the 14-day cancellation period, you may return the item. However, the item must be in the same condition as received, and you are responsible for return postage costs.
3. Items Not Eligible for Return
We do not accept returns for:
- Items sold as damaged, faulty, or “sold as seen” where the fault was clearly stated in the listing.
- Customised or modified items at the buyer’s request.
- Items returned after the 14-day period (unless faulty under UK consumer law).
4. How to Return an Item
To initiate a return:
- Contact us at glynn.quelch@gmail.com or write to us at Lyndene, Bannerman Road, Nottinghamshire, NG17 8DW with your order details and reason for return.
- We will provide return instructions, including the return address.
- Securely package the item and return it via a tracked postal service.
- Once received, we will process your refund within 5 working days.
5. Refund Processing
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. If a refund is due, it will be processed within 5 working days of receiving the returned item. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.
